We want to ensure our student-athlete families know what coverage is available in case of an injury. Below are answers to the most common questions.
What insurance is provided for student-athletes?
Student-athletes are covered by two types of insurance:

Secondary Accident Insurance (through K&K Insurance) – helps cover costs after your primary health insurance has been billed.

Catastrophic Insurance (through TSSAA) – provides additional protection in rare, severe cases.

What is catastrophic insurance?
The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) provides catastrophic insurance for student-athletes in the event of a severe injury.
