Collierville Schools
August 5, 2018 - an awesome start to what promises to be an exciting 2018-19 school year! The ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate our new Collierville High School was an exciting day, and it was the culmination of years of planning and hard work by countless people. We are extremely proud of the new building and its many state of the art amenities, but more importantly it allows us to offer new programs and classes, with enough classroom and specialty spaces, to provide more opportunities for all of our students for many years to come. Our community partners have also worked with us in the design phase, and with their knowledge and partnerships we are now able to offer more classes to better prepare our students for in-demand careers and better post-secondary preparation.
Collierville Schools now serves approximately 9,000 students, with 6 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and one high school. We have experienced steady growth, both in our school system and in our community, since the formation of our own school district in 2014. Our challenge is to continue to maintain the high standards of academic excellence for which we are known, as well as instilling in all of our students the traits of Scholarship, Integrity, and Service. Our school administrators, teachers, and staff members are dedicated individuals who diligently work for the students in our community. All continue to amaze with me with their willingness to persevere in the face of so many challenges, and I commend them for their steadfast attitudes to do the right thing in any situation.
I look forward to an exciting school year, and I so appreciate the support given by so many community members. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at
