Superintendent's Message
Welcome to the Collierville Schools website! My name is Gary Lilly and it is my honor to serve as the second Superintendent of Collierville Schools.
As I draft this message, I am reminded of advice from my 10th grade English teacher, Mrs. Jonas, who instilled the belief that it is important to know the audience for whom you are writing. Unfortunately, because this will eventually be posted as a web page, I am unable to ascertain the purpose for your visit, although I might imagine a couple of scenarios.
If you are looking for information about our district, schools, or events, you are in the right place. We regularly update items of interest and import so check back often. Our individual school websites have an abundance of relevant information, too. Also, be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Instagram. If there is anything you need that you cannot find, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you. We value two-way communication with parents and community members. We look forward to communicating with you however you prefer, be it text, email, website, socials, or an old-fashioned phone call. One great option for parents is to sign-up for our unified communication app, ParentSquare.
If you are looking to relocate or just new to the area and want to survey our offerings, we have you covered. Collierville Schools has been rated by Niche as the top school district in the state of Tennessee for two years running. We have 1:1 Apple technology at every grade level. Our students compete and are recognized as top echelon performers in every arena, including academics, athletics, fine arts, and extra-curricular pursuits. To meet current and future goals, students enjoy a wide array of options, including 25 Advanced Placement and many honors courses, diverse and innovative CTE programs of study, some of which, like aviation piloting and mechanics, that are rarely available elsewhere, award winning band and theatrical productions, and TSSAA sanctioned sports as well as bowling, mountain biking, and trap among others. We are happy to meet with you to discuss the amazing things going on in our district and host you for a tour at any of our state-of-the-art facilities.

We have a close-knit community and appreciate the contributions of our school PTAs, the Town of Collierville, Collierville Education Foundation, Partners in Education, and the many individuals and organizations who regularly donate their time, expertise, and money to support our mission to prepare students for a life of scholarship, integrity, and service.
