Device Deployment 2022-2023
Devices Issued
- Students in grades PK- 2 are issued an iPad in a protective carry case. These devices will stay at school.
- Students in grades 3-8 are issued an iPad in a protective keyboard case, along with a power cord and power adaptor. Students will take their devices home and they should be charged each night.
- Students in grades 9-12 are issued a MacBook in a protective case, along with a power cord and power adaptor. Students will take their devices home and they should be charged each night.

Device Fee (Grades 3- 12 ONLY)
The device fee is $50 for one student, $75 for two students, and $100 for three or more students. The maximum fee per family is $100. Payments can be made in two ways. The fee can be paid online and the steps to do so are below. The fee can also be paid at school with cash or a check (payable to the school).
Device Deployment Schedule
Student device deployment will take place as listed below.
Kindergarten
Students will receive their devices in their classroom after Stagger Week. Students will complete the setup of devices at school.
Grades 1-8
Students will receive and set up their devices & accessories during the first two weeks of school, per the schedule below. Instructions will be provided for students and families in grades 3-8, who will take the device home nightly.

Grade 9
Students will pick up their devices & accessories at Freshman Orientation at CHS on August 4. Students will complete the setup of the device during Orientation.
Grades 10-12
Students will be keeping their devices this summer. After completing new student registration, any new 10th-12th grade students will receive their device during set-up sessions, by invitation.
Collierville Virtual Academy Grades 4-12
Students will pick up their devices & accessories on Orientation Day, August 2. Students will complete the setup of the device during Orientation.
