Earlier today you may have received a text and/or e-mail communication regarding the return of students to in-person instruction on Monday, November 30th. The content of those messages, which were composed prior to the Thanksgiving holiday and scheduled for delivery this weekend, is being replaced with the following. Collierville High School Activates Contingency Plan

Collierville Schools administration has been notified of five (5) confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Collierville High School this week. The high school administration and Shelby County Health Department investigators are in the process of notifying close contacts to these students, and the individuals will be asked to quarantine.

CMS Transitions to Remote Learning Temporarily for In-Person Students 11/16 - 11/20

Collierville Middle School is experiencing an increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases with (5) active cases and a large number of quarantined staff and students.

The safety, security, and wellbeing of our school community is our top priority as we continue to respond to the virus. As such, Collierville Middle School in-person learning will temporarily transition to remote learning on Monday, November 16, 2020 - November 20. Students will return to in-person learning on Monday, November 30, 2020, following the Thanksgiving intersession. Collierville Middle School CVA learning and functions will continue as normal.

Remote Learning for Collierville High Schools 11/19 - 11/20

Collierville High School will use Thursday, November 19 as a remote learning day for ALL high school students. Friday learning will continue as a scheduled remote learning day as normal for ALL students at Collierville High School. Remote learning will conclude at the end of school business on Friday, November 20. Thanksgiving intersession begins 11/23 – 11/27, students do not return to the school until 11/30.

Collierville, Tennessee (October 6, 2020) - Generally, the governing board of a school district is empowered to provide voters relevant facts and to aid them in reaching an informed decision when voting on a political issue. However, public agencies like school districts must remain neutral regarding political contests. Public resources, including public facilities, may not be used to advocate for one side or the other in the political process. The Collierville Schools do not endorse or support any candidate running for office.
