School curriculum is based on the TN Department of Education State Curriculum Standards. TNReady Blueprints have been provided by the TN Dept. of Education in order to align instruction with assessment. The Scope and Sequence documents (Curriculum Maps) have been developed by Collierville Schools to guide teachers when developing instructional lessons.



2017 Textbook Adoption

All board members, parents, and community stakeholders are invited to stop by the Collierville Schools Central Office from February 15-21 between 8am and 4pm to view the current textbooks on the list for adoption in 2017.

Consideration for Early Entrance into Kindergarten

Tennessee State Department of Education regulation states, to be eligible to enter kindergarten for

the 2017-2018 school year, children must be five years of age by August 15, 2017.

Children who will turn five years old between August 16th and September 30th can be screened,

per parent request, for early entry into kindergarten.

(T.C.A 49-6-3001 (B).

Consideration for early entrance to kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year will be accepted by

Collierville Schools Department of Curriculum and Accountability.

  • You will need to schedule a screening for your child.
  • There will be no consideration for children who will turn 5 beyond September 30th.
To be recommended for early entrance to kindergarten, children will need to demonstrate above average performance and development in academic skills as well as social/emotional and physical development.

  • The option to take Dual Enrollment Classes in Science, Math, English, and Social Studies in collaboration with the University of Memphis
